Alex Budka’s Career:
Mr. Budka started his real estate career in college at the age of nineteen where he started a lending business with his brother, Joey Budka, and some investors. After selling the lending business, Alex and Joey launched their commercial real estate career as commercial real estate brokers. As a commercial broker, Alex went on to achieve the company Pace Setter award at Marcus and Millichap as a strong first-year producer, then he took the opportunity to learn the net lease (triple net) investment business as an investment broker with the Maffia Team (now Preserve West Capital).
Mr. Budka’s career suddenly took an opportunistic turn - he was offered a Chief Marketing Officer position at a startup in the Philippines called Qwikewire. Qwikwire participated in Batch 17 of 500 Startups - a leading startup incubator in the Bay Area and the largest startup incubator in the world!
After Alex returned from the Philippines, he was hired by Sridhar Equities as a Managing Director. At Sridhar Equities, Alex was responsible for sourcing real estate opportunities for the company and underwriting, managing the due diligence process, closing the transaction, and seeing an exit strategy through post-closing. Mr. Budka was also responsible for all commercial transactions in the company. Alex successfully closed and assisted in closing $92.6 million in transaction volume.
In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing, mountain biking, boxing, and playing his guitars. He attended San Jose State University where he studied entrepreneurship.
